"Family for Every Child" in the CSSCF-Shoumen

Eleven newly-born babies placed in foster families under the project Family for Every Child were part of a new ceremony in Shoumen.

In the day of St. Petka Balgarska - protector of the Bulgarian children - the Regional Foster Care Centre in Shoumen organized the first blessing ceremony for newly-born babies that are placed in the care of foster families.

The newly-born babies placed in the beginning of the year in foster families as part of the project "Family for Every Child" of UNICEF, the Ministry of Health, and the Municipality of Shoumen are 12. One of them is already in the home of its biological family. The rest 11 babies were blessed to follow their path.

The ones that performed the blessing ceremony are strong and experienced, true to their principles, loving and always supporting. Everyone of them is a good person and has

contributed to his/her profession - in the sphere of medicine, art and culture, law, social services, and police.

The ceremony took place on October 13th, 2011 in the sweetshop "Miki" in the City Garden of Shoumen.
