Presentation of project “Listen to the child – justice befriends the child” during Eurochild’s Annual Conference in Bucharest
Representatives of the International Juvenile Justice Observatory,
FONPC and SAPI took part in a special workshop on the topic “Building an economic case for a child-friendly justice”.
The workshop was organised during the Eurochild Annual Conference, in
partnership with the Embassy of France in Romania. The topic of the meeting was
improving Juvenile justice systems in a situation of economic crisi, the
optimal use of public resources through the application of an integrated,
interdisciplinary approach and public-private partnerships. Project “Listen to
the child – justice befriends the child” was presented by Mariama Diallo,
Attache for regional cooperation “Rights of the Child” at the French Embassy in
Romania until 2013, as example of important effort at the regional and European
level for guaranteeing the rights of children, involved in legal proceedings.
