The current national representative survey is related to the project "Prevention of Sexual Abuse and Sexual Exploitation of Children in Central and Eastern Europe - A Whole Approach". It is aimed at studying the attitudes and the willingness of the parents of children to talk about the subject of sexual upbringing and measures to protect against sexual abuse with their children.
The target group of the study is composed of parents.
Purpose of the study:
The purpose of the survey is to identify among parents of children aged 5 to 11 their attitudes and readiness to talk about the subject with their children and compare the results obtained with such a survey in 2015.
Methodology of the study:
In order to verify the working hypothesis and to realize the objectives of the survey, two questionnaires with the same content were carried out: the first - at the start of the project work and the second - after three years when the planned programs under the project with parents and children were completed.
A questionnaire was created of 11 closed questions, to which the surveyed persons express their own attitude. Answers to the questions allow for the choice of a possible answer. The repetition of the study allows us to assess the extent of the change we expect to occur in the attitudes of the participants in the course of the work.
